QR Code troubleshooting
March 2012 by LesleyWe’ve put a lot of research into QR Codes and their readability to ensure that the QR codes added to our business cards using our integrated systems are clear and error free to guarantee that your code is readable. However, QR codes that have been clipped, shrunk, integrated into a printed design with size/colour changes or other such alterations may have had their reliability and readability affected. Let’s look at some of the common causes of a broken QR code.

Express business cards with quick turnaround
December 2011 by JakeProcrastination is something that I suffer badly from, and I don’t think im alone. Instead of tackling important tasks such as ordering business cards for an imminent meeting, I find myself filling my time with mundane and worthless pastimes (like playing on my Xbox). However looking at some of our customers ordering habits, I don’t think I am the only person suffering from such a debilitating bad habit. Goodprint offer a next day or express business card printing service, and with such high quality cards available so quickly it isn’t surprising that a large number of our customers take advantage of this service.
Is this the best customer feedback ever?
December 2011 by BenScott Perry of SP Magic describes himself as a cardist, showman and sleight of hand expert. We describe him as awesome. He decided he didn’t want to leave Goodprint a review on Trustpilot when prompted by our feedback, so instead made a video full of awesomeness.
A new look to our email marketing
November 2011 by Ben
This month we experimented with a different template to send our monthly offer within. We’ve decided that whilst our old templates were functional, they weren’t that pretty! So this month and next month our emails will be leading with a nice big graphic at the top that we hope you’ll like and share. The image above is this month’s and next month’s is going to be something really special!
Goodprint provide high quality print templates for a whole range of professions, and with over a thousand designs there are very few that don’t already have a professional template available.

If you are at all concerned at what sort of service you would receive from Goodprint take a moment to visit our feedback page and see if it doesn’t convince you that Goodprint is the right choice for your business stationery.

Phil Johns – PJ Studio
November 2011 by Goodprint
These beautifully designed cards are the work of Phil Johns at PJ Studio. Clearly designed by someone with an eye for colour, this design is certainly modern, crisp and sleek. Added round corners compliment the design perfectly and appear to flow with Phil’s brilliant logo.
Ben Johnson – ‘Element’ Domestic Electrical Services
November 2011 by Goodprint
Ben works in Domestic Electrical Services, so we love how he’s composed his photograph. We’re fond of the crisp ‘Element’ logo and think it works nicely with the small amount of text included. Simple yet effective!

Thana Thammavongsa – ‘Whoosh’ Creative Asian Catering
November 2011 by Goodprint
Thana Thammavongsa has sent us this stunningly composed image of her ‘Whoosh’ cards in situ’ and we love every aspect of them! From the Elephant logo to the lovely bright background, these cards ooze style, and attaching them to the chopsticks is something we’ve certainly never seen before, so top marks for creativity Thana!

Scott is a ‘cardist’ magician and is the creator of spmagic.co.uk. His use of rounded corners aptly transforms his business cards into the style of playing cards and his spade-style logo really hits home his profession.
Simon Clements – Blue Bot Design
November 2011 by Goodprint
This card was designed and sent in by Simon Clements, a web designer and the creator of Blue Bot Designs. His business card design features many elements, many of which are very subtle but effective. The grey stone-like text behind the Blue Bot image works nicely with the blue of the logo.
James Busby – Notion Labs Web Design
November 2011 by Goodprint
James is a web designer and we thought that featuring his cards would be a great start to the week. It’s fantastic to see people making brilliant use of our material and cutting options and as you can see with these cards, the combination of textured card and a round corner makes for a very stylish result. The blue background works nicely, especially with the punchy, bold text. Great stuff James!
